We are pleased to announce that the call for proposals for workshops, roundtables, and posters for the Pathways to Prosperity 2025 National Conference is now open. Registration for the conference is also open.
Pathways to Prosperity will hold its 13th Annual National Conference and the P2P-FCFA Conference for LIPs and RIF at the Halifax Convention Centre on November 24-26, 2025. Virtual participation options will also be available on these dates.
The theme of this year’s P2P Annual National Conference on Monday November 24 and Tuesday November 25 is Investing in Canada’s Shared Future: Pathways to Possibilities. This theme reflects our focus on exploring possible futures for immigration and settlement in Canada so that we can better prepare for them. The keynote speaker and plenary sessions will discuss key Change Drivers that may shape the future, such as public attitudes toward immigration, labour market trends, global geopolitical trends, technological advances, and information flows. The conference will also feature an interactive session offering attendees a taste of foresight planning. In addition, the conference will include workshops and roundtables, a poster session, and opportunities to network with colleagues. The poster session will take place on the evening of November 24 at Pier 21 – the Canadian Museum of Immigration, with shuttle service between the Convention Centre and Pier 21 provided. All interested parties are welcome to attend this conference.
The P2P-FCFA Conference for LIPs and RIF on Wednesday November 26 will focus on Building Future-Ready LIPs and RIF. The event will explore practical and strategic considerations for helping RIF and LIPs to prepare for the future. It will include a plenary session, workshops and roundtables, and the P2P Hackathon. The day offers a valuable opportunity for LIPs and RIF to gain new insights, share experiences and achievements, plan for the future, and develop new connections and collaborations. All interested parties are welcome to attend this conference.
To be inclusive, we will provide simultaneous interpretation for the keynote, plenary sessions, and other special sessions, both in person and virtually.
The planning committees for these events are working hard to make them engaging and useful to all who attend. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Gender-Based Violence Response Forum
November 23, 2025
In Person
Halifax Convention Centre, Halifax
The National Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Strategy for Agencies Serving Immigrants Project is hosting the 3rd GBV Response Forum at P2P. This half-day event will take place on Sunday November 23 from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM (lunch included). We invite conference participants to continue the conversation about addressing GBV with our national partners. Together, we will explore how agencies serving newcomers, immigrants, and refugees can empower safer spaces and strengthen their GBV responses using trauma- and violence-informed, survivor-centred approaches. This is an opportunity to connect, share insights, and deepen our collective efforts to address GBV in immigrant-serving contexts.
